NRF-NSF Agreement on International Collaboration in Chemistry (ICC) has been signed on March 19th. Dr. Dong-Ho Kim, Division Director, Division of Natural Sciences of National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) visited to the U.S. to have a meeting with National Science Foundation (NSF). The meeting was arranged to discuss on the Advanced Manufacturing (AM) workshop and International Collaboration in Chemistry (ICC) along with a signing ceremony between NRF and NSF as well. Participants from NSF were as follows:
- Dr. Fleming Crim, Assistant Director, Mathematical and Physical Sciences
- Dr. Tanja Pietrass, Acting Division Director, Chemistry (the MOU signatory for NSF)
- Dr. Zeev Rozenzweig, Program Director, ICC
- Dr. James Lisy, Program Director, ICC
- Dr. Bill Chang, Program Coordinator, East Asia-Pacific, International Science and Engineering
The meeting was very productive overall and detailed follow-up will be discussed in the near future. Dr. Kim also visited KUSCO to have an insight view of what KUSCO does.
