KUSCO is pleased to announce its support for the “The 2025 Western Gulf Coast Regional Conference” which was held on November 15th, at the Baylor College of Medicine. The 2025 Western Gulf Coast Regional Conference had a meaningful impact on strengthening the scientific ecosystem within the Korean American community in Texas. By bringing together over 100 scientists, engineers, students, and young trainees, the conference provided a rare platform where early-career researchers could directly interact with faculty across major institutions, receive tailored feedback, and engage in career-shaping conversations.
Beyond individual development, the event contributed to strengthening the regional scientific network at an institutional level. The presence of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea and KIAT reinforced new avenues for international collaboration, particularly between Korea and the Texas Medical Center. The diverse representation of researchers—from biomedical sciences to engineering—helped expand KSEA-ST’s reach and positioned the organization as a central platform for multidisciplinary exchange.
