KUSCO is pleased to announce its support for the 19th US-Korea Forum on Nanotechnology. This 19th Forum was held at Kintex, Korea, on July 3 & 4, 2025. Eighty-seven eminent scientists and policy-makers in the field of semiconductors and nanotechnology attended. This year, the topics were Sustainability in Semiconductor Manufacturing by Design and Neuromorphic & Quantum Sensors on a Chip. Four keynote speakers, twelve senior presenters, and six early-career presenters from the U.S. were invited and a roughly equal number of Korean presenters participated.

The contribution of this Forum is its ability to bring together a bi-national community of expert researchers and innovators who are working on the leading edge of semiconductor manufacturing as well as advanced sensor technology. The outcome of this Forum has led to significant milestones and vigorous research collaboration for both countries where semiconductor/sensor technology will generate a great economic and social impact. All the Forum proceedings and findings are available on Carnegie Mellon’s website for a broad audience. (https://www.cmu.edu/nanotechnology-forum/Forum_19/Outcome.htm)
