KUSCO is pleased to announce the first-ever program titled “Exploration of Innovative Practices in U.S. Universities,” which was held from May 6th to May 18th, inviting two groups of delegations. This program was designed to help innovation managers from Korean universities gain insights into the innovation practices of American universities, fostering a practical understanding of university innovation systems, accomplishments, and methodologies.

KUSCO hosted 38 participants from 18 different universities in Korea. The major components of the program included professional lectures and visits to innovation facilities. Some of the major universities we visited were New York University, George Washington University, George Mason University, and City College of New York. Our participants had the opportunity to explore innovative practices in areas such as curriculum development, industry/community-academic partnerships, university governance innovation, student support systems, and openness.
