KUSCO is pleased to support the 2021 KAFTA (Korean-American Food Technologists Association) Annual Meeting, which was held on July 13 2021 via Zoom.
KAFTA (Korean-American Food Technologists Association) is a non-profit organization with members of Korean-American food scientists working in academia, government and industry in the U.S. Founded more than 50 years ago, KAFTA has been dedicated to bringing together members to form network and find opportunities and to help Korean students studying the U.S. develop their professional career in Food Science and Industry.
In this regard, KAFTA has been hosting an annual meeting for our members and visitors from Korean Society of Food Science and Technology in conjunction with annual IFT meeting, where KAFTA supports social networking for members and recognizes winners from graduate poster competition. Especially this year, we awarded 6 students and postdoctoral research associates with a plaque and money ranging from 750 to $1,500 from the research paper competition.
