KUSCO is pleased to announce its continued support and the successful story of the The 16th US Korea Forum on Nanotechnology, which was held on September 23rd and 24th in San Diego.

The objective of this Forum is to further empower a platform for scientists and engineers from both countries by focusing on the nanotechnology convergence. As the global population grows to unprecedented levels, experts predict significantly increased needs in medicine, computing/communication sensors , and cognition in the near future. In order to drastically improve the supply of these resources for global standard of living, nanotechnology convergence become  the key factors. Furthermore, a s we enter the 4th industrial revolution, which is characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, & biological spheres, and the rapid increase in the
enormous amount of data processed & stored led us to needs for a new field of technologies including nanomedicine and sensors related to human cognition Therefore, the theme of this Forum covered timely topics in the following areas:
(A ) Nanomedicine focusing on single cell level and ( B ) Sensors related to human cognition and brain research. For the detailed program information, please visit https://www.cmu.edu/nanotechnology-forum/Forum_16/GeneralInfo.htm
