On the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of end of the Korea War, the Korea-US Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO) is pleased to announce a new internship program in honor and recognition of US Veterans who served in the Korean War. To express its appreciation, KUSCO will offer their descendants who are students (including Undergraduate/Graduate students) majoring in science and engineering, an opportunity to apply for an internship in Korea.

In addition to this, KUSCO is also announcing the 2nd KUSCO Scholarship for Descendants of Korean War Veterans. This program recognizes outstanding Undergraduate/Graduate Students who have demonstrated excellent talents in the fields of science and engineering and helps identify and nurture potential leaders of scientific community for closer cooperation between Korea and the US in the future. KUSCO awarded two recipients in 2012.
