National Assemblywoman, Dr.Youngah Park, visited KUSCO on May 22nd and she was accompanied with Mr.In-il Lee, Science Counselor, Korean Embassy.
Dr.Jong-Deok Kim, Director of KUSCO, described KUSCO’ activities as well as its annual plan for 2012. Dr.Park acknowledged that KUSCO has accomplished much to promote S&T cooperation between the U.S. and Korea since 1997, and she also expressed interest in the WEST program as well.
Due to her physics background and the member of Education, Science and Technology Committee, Dr.Park expressed the importance of KUSCO’s role. Dr.Park is a current professor at Myongji University in the Department of Physics.
