Dr. Ann Liebschutz, Executive Director of the U.S. – Israel Science & Technology Foundation (USISTF) Washington Office visited KUSCO on June 9th accompanied by Ms. Eve Copeland, Program Manager of USISTF. The main purpose of the meeting was to exchange ideas about program operating system and to share the insights on collaborative projects between KUSCO and USISTF as bilateral organizations. Both parties agreed to cooperate and to add value on various projects.
As a non-profit organization, USISTF was established in 1995, to fund and administer projects mandated by the U.S.-Israel Science and Technology Commission (USISTC), a bilateral entity jointly established by the United States Department of Commerce and the Israel Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Labor in 1994 to foster scientific, technological, and economic cooperation between the United States and Israel.
