KUSCO supported the KSEA Southeastern Science and Engineering Conference which was held on April 22-23 at the Stone Mountain Park, Atlanta, GA. For this year, there were 15-17 invited speakers, 15 research presentations, and more than 50 participants attended. There were four main objectives of this meeting as follow:

  1. to provide opportunities to scientists and engineers in US and visiting scholars from Korea to interact with each other and to build strong collaboration and partnership,
  2. to exchange cutting-edge R&D topics and discuss what challenges we are facing to advance,
  3. to provide opportunities for YG members to meet senior scientists and engineers in an informal setting,
  4. to launch a Southeastern chapter of the Korean-American Women in Science and Engineering (KWiSE).
