REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

I.  Objectives

The Korea-US Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO) has committed to enhancing cooperation in the area of Science and Engineering between the U.S. and Korea since its establishment in 1997. For the  past 14 years, KUSCO has implemented a variety of activities such as US-Korea Conference, Korean American Scientists and Engineers Association Chapters’ conference, scholarships for graduate students majoring S&E, National Math and Science Competititon, EAPSI program with National Science Foundation and WEST (Work, English Study and Travel) program with the State Department for nurting Korean-American Young Generation, expanding networks among Korean, Korean-American and American scientists in the field of scientific instutions, government, universities, and industry.

We think now is the time to look into the holistic approchs over the previous activities and create new ways of cooperation between two countries through the KUSCO. Therefore, we would like to request a proposal to survey current situation, suggest creative ways to enhance cooperation between the U.S. and Korea and present future blue print for KUSCO.

II.  Proposal Details

The PI who is interested in the project should submit a preliminary proposal with maximum 5 pages that  should include:

  1. Brief summary of Project
  2. Justification and Components
  3. Schedule
  4. Budget
  5. PI Resume

After reviewing the preliminary proposals, the selected projects should be requested to submit the full proposals.
