Dr.Jong-Deok, Kim, Director of the KUSCO, has visited the National Science Foundation (NSF) on October 7th to have a meeting with Dr. Larry Weber, Director of Office of International Science and Engineering (OISE) to discuss following matters;
- Plan for the 2nd EAPSI-Korea Alumni Meeting;
- Status of 2011 EAPSI-Korea application;
- US-Korea cooperation projects in materials & chemistry
- Post-follow up of 2010 US-Korea Joint Committee on S&T
For 2010, NSF has a budget of about $6.9 billion. (approximately 20 percent of all federally supported basic research conducted by America’s colleges and universities).
