The NIH-KSA will have its Annual Bioscience and Engineering Symposium (ABES) on November 5th (Saturday) at KSEA headquarter, 1952 Gallows Rd., Suite 300, Vienna, VA 22182. This symposium is a good opportunity for the NIH-KSA
members and DC-Metro area scientists to interact and exchange scientific ideas.
- If you want to present a poster, you can submit your abstract starting TODAY. The deadline for abstract submission is October 14,2011. Please submit via e-mail to kwonhe@nei.nih.govor sychoi@niaid.nih.gov.Oral presenters will be chosen by section chairs. Notification of abstracts selected for oral presentations will be e-mailed on Friday, October 28, 2011. Abstract form is attached.

All poster participants are eligible to receive KSEA Travel Awards. Two oral presentions and six posters will be selected for awards amounting to $200.00 and $100.00 respectively. This symposium is supported by KSEA, KUSCO and NIH-KSA. You will get a complementary KSEA membership and registration fees are not required. Free lunch and Korean style dinner will be served.
