KUSCO is pleased to announce as a sponsor that The 15th Korea-U.S. Forum on Nanotechnology was held on July 12th and 13th in Kintex(Korea International Exhibition Center), Korea.
The objective of this Forum is to further empower a platform for scientists and engineers from both countries by focusing on the nanotechnology convergence. As the global population grows to unprecedented levels, experts predict a significantly increased needs in medicine, computing/communication devices, and distributed network infrastructures in the near future. In order to drastically improve the supply of these resources for global standard of living, nanotechnology convergence becomes the key factors. Furthermore, as we enter the 4th industrial revolution, which is characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, & biological spheres, and the rapid increase in the enormous amount of data processed & stored led us to needs for a new field of technologies including Internet of Things (IoT) and nanomedicine. Therefore, the theme of this Forum covered timely topics in the following areas: (A) Nanomedicine focusing on single cell level and (B) IoT including nanosensors
