KUSCO News WEST Program - e-Newsletter updates

Beginning with the next issue of our e-Newsletter, we will have a special section that will focus on a WEST intern and host of the month.  Designed to highlight the professional activities of our KUSCO WEST interns and their host organizations, you will be able to get a sense of how this exciting program is working to change the lives of young Korean exchange interns.

The WEST Program is an innovative exchange program between the United States and Korea, designed to offer professional level internships, preceded by a period of intensive Business English study, and to specially selected young Korean university students.  Signed into existence by the presidents of both countries in 2008, the WEST Program offers an opportunity for young Koreans to have an international experience and to work in a U.S. business environment before returning to Korea to enter the fast-paced globalized world in which Korea is a major player.

KUSCO is honored to have been designated by the U.S. Department of State as a Sponsor of this important program.
