황금거위’연구대상 (Golden Goose Award) 시상식 열려 등 27건
- 지난 9월 말 워싱턴디씨에서 개최된 ‘황금거위’연구대상 (Golden Goose A ward) 시상식에서는 기술, 의학 등 분야에서 연구의 우수성을 인정받은 여섯 명의 연방정부 지원 연구자들에게 상 을 수여함.
- 기초과학 분야에서 가장 중요한 과학적 발견을 이룩한 연구자들을 위 한 황금거위 연구대상은 미 응용과학 협회 (American Association for the Advancement of Science, AAAS), 미 대학 협회 (Association of American Universities, AAU), 공립 및 공공지원 대학 협회 (Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, APLU) 등이 매 년 공동으로 주관함.
