KUSCO participated in pre-departure orientation of 2014 East Asian Pacific Summer Institute for U.S. Graduate Students which National Science Foundation (NSF) organizes every year. KUSCO was in charge of providing insight view of cultural, historical and language perspective as well as current Science & Technology landscape of Korea for EAPSI-Korea participants. There are 25 final participants this year and they will visit Korea from June to August for research and cultural experience.
EAPSI (East Asia and Pacific Summer Institute for U.S. Graduate Students) program is sponsored by National Science Foundation (http://www.nsf.gov) along with National Research Foundation of Korea (http://www.nrf.re.kr/html/kr/). There are 7 other nations including Korea. KUSCO is in charge of the pre-departure orientation in the U.S. every year and arranging EAPSI-Korea alumni meeting. This event is designed to provide various information including alumni presentation, Cultural, Historical, and Language Perspectives.
